July Pre-Conference Blog

By Emily Li

How’s your summer so far? Running out of ideas for what activities to do under this lovely weather? Come join us for some fun in the sun at our July Conference! Continuing with the outdoor themed trilogy, our July Conference will be will be held at China Creek North Park (across from MEC HQ).

Just a reminder that the dress code for this outdoor conference will be: a red Rover Crew polo, necker, woggle, any choice of pants, and closed-toe shoes. The weather is predicted to be sunny at highs of 28℃, so make sure you bring ample water and sunscreen.

Got a competitive side? This month’s activity is in a stylish Round Robin style, featuring stations inspired by previous conferences themes. Remember the conference theme “Pioneering and Knots”? What about the one on “Risk Management”? Hope you were paying attention, ‘cause we’re going to put your skills to the test!

See you there!

It’s graduation season for many people, and that includes our own Rovers as well! Check out Gwendolyn’s thoughts on her experience with the crew:
