Haven’t had a chance to enjoy the sun this week? Grab your summer gear, and we’ll soak in the sun during this month’s conference! Our June conference will be held at China Creek Park (across from MEC HQ). Since it will take place outdoors, the dress code will be a red Rover Crew polo, necker, woggle and close toe shoes. Remember to bring sunglasses, sunscreen, and water!
This month’s activity is pioneering. We will be learning the art of using ropes and sticks to create structures. It’ll be a perfect group activity to do with your Scouting friends under the magnificent sunshine!
One more important component of this month’s conference is the election. During this time, an election for the next president will be hosted. The two candidate will each have 10 minutes to deliver a speech and answer questions.
