The centerpiece of our last conference was an activity where we retold memorable stories through a sequence of GIFs. For those that couldn’t attend our monthly conference, here are the results from each patrol, paired with a bit of dialogue that explains each image:

Once upon a time, there was a Rover named Nick Pham. Having been involved in the Scouting movement since he was a kid, he was always eager to embark on adventures.
Because of his passion for the outdoors, he would train himself daily in order to maintain the necessary physical ability to go on said adventures.
Eventually, the day finally came when he got to go on a hike to Elfin Lakes with his fellow Rovers and Scouters.
Although the group did a fantastic job in planning the event, Nick’s nervousness was so great that he ended up overpacking. Moreover, only when he arrived at the trailhead did he realize his backpack was filled with unnecessary clothes instead of the essential items such as his water bottle, lunchbox and sunglasses.
Having been cautious about Nick’s situation, his peers had prepared some extra equipment and resources. During the hike, everyone supported each other by sharing their gear, water, and taking breaks whenever someone needed one.
After hours of persisting through the snow, they finally reached their destination. Nick was happy because he could create memories with his friends that would last a lifetime.
