The Scouting Now Action Plan Item 5.3 calls for an investigation into “the development and operation of an Extension Scouts program for disadvantaged and/or homeless youth” in Canada’s major urban centers.
The 180th Pacific Coast Scout Group was commissioned to research and write this report on behalf of Scouts Canada, as a part of revitalization to Scouting. Our Group was also commissioned to work on ScoutingNOW Action Items 5.1 (Creation of Outreach Team) and 5.5 (Investigation of New Group Model).
