On behalf of the Canadian contingent, Eli Chan gives our welcome in both English and Spanish at the official inauguration of the Nayarit Scout Hall in Puerto Vallarta. She briefly explains how the project went from conception to dialog to complete and what the new hall now means to the community.
At the Volcanes Elementary School, we were able to assist the youth learning English by reading with them. We pulled up some bilingual books and took turns reading Spanish to the children, while they read the English back to us.
