In March, we held our 10 year anniversary gala to commemorate our 10 years of hard work and accomplishments. As well, we had our official kick-off for our 6th international service project to Taiwan!
Appreciations to the Honourable Alice Wong, Member of Parliament and Representative of Richmond Centre, for sending us off this year again.
Having Hon. Alice Wong at our Flag Ceremony has become something of a tradition. Our service projects to the Philippines, China, Mexico, and Malaysia & Singapore were all bookmarked by your presence at our previous Flag Ceremonies. We are so grateful to have you present the Canadian Flag to us, giving our contingents the honour of representing Canada during our time in Service overseas.
A big thanks to Scouter Nathan Hayward, who was a huge part of this ceremony in playing traditional ceremonial songs on the bagpipes.
Thank you to all of our sponsors who had helped us create the perfect venue for this event. These sponsors had helped with funding, collecting prizes, and adding to our amazing dessert table.
Of course, this event would not be such a success without our friends and family who continually supports our Rover Crew.
