On Sunday, May 15th, an assembly of die-hards from the 180th Pacific Coast Scout GroupĀ set off to make a name for themselves forever in the annals of Rover Scout Group history: They would wash cars, rain or shine. Being Vancouver, this happened to be in the rain.
Dampened spirits was as far as could be from the truth, for these Rovers were not only enthusiastic about maintaining automotive cleanliness, they dressed up for it as well. Elmo was spotted, working on detailing a muffler, while Uncle Sam was seen attempting to recruit cars for some tender loving care.
Of course, the 180th Pacific Coast Scout GroupĀ also managed to garner some financial contributions while polishing rear-view mirrors. We thank everyone who came out to support us, and please look forward to more fantastic events!
