• Thanks for visiting our iProj Taiwan page! Below are some featured blog posts on our thoughts and adventures during this International Service Project. You will see us doing environmental and social projects in Taipei, Hualien, Yilan, and Taichung. As well, meet the Taiwanese Scouts who have been helping us plan this trip and will be generously hosting us while we are over there. We will be partnering in a number of these projects and other milestones, so make sure to keep updated!

The 180th Pacific coast scout group is on our 6th international service project to Taiwan from April 29 to May 13! Our contingent of 18 rovers and 9 volunteer scouters will be doing a series of environmental and social service projects in partnership with the Taiwanese Scout Association (please see itinerary below). These projects will create stronger bonds between these groups within this global youth-led organization. As representatives of Scouts Canada, our contingent will also be presenting in an International Public Forum, where we will be talking about Canada, Scouts Canada, environmental stewardship, the impacts of proper mentorship, and international service projects.

Since our inception 10 years ago, we’ve been on 5 international service projects. For more information about our previous international service projects, please visit http://pccrovers.com/international-service-projects/.
