Scout Group Support was born simply because being a Scouter is very rewarding, yet, it can also be very time consuming. One of our goals is to facilitate activities that help make a Scouter’s job less time consuming, more fun, and ultimately, leads to a better program from our youth. This year is the start of a new adventure for us as a Rover Scout Group. We have the opportunity to incorporate two Scout Groups into our Rover Program: 23rd Elsie Roy Scout Group in Yaletown, and 28th Terra Nova Scout Group in Richmond, BC.
One of our most exciting projects this year is the rebirth of the Competition Camp. In the past, this epic camp has brought superheroes to new heights, and this year, we must try to save the Pixar studios from those who look to harm them. The Competition Camp is where Scouts from all over the Lower Mainland compete against each other in various areas such as Scouting skills, camping, teamwork and spirit.
