On August 20 our Crew’s management team had the privilege of meeting with the Scouts Canada National Key 3, which include: Doug Reid, our National Commissioner, Kaylee Galipeau, our National Youth Commissioner, and Andrew Price, CEO and Executive Commissioner. Also joining us was Marlissa Morrison, Assistant National Youth Commissioner-West. We took the opportunity to share our Crew’s successes and the things we’ve learnt with the Key 3, including presenting on our latest International Service Project to Singapore and Malaysia and our Crew’s Balanced Scorecard.

It was great to hear from the National Key 3 about Scouts Canada’s strategic priorities and the implementation of the Canadian Path. The Canadian Path is an attempt to answer an important question in Scouting: “Does the program benefit the youth?” The Rover program our Crew has built aims to benefit our Rovers while working towards the success of Scouts Canada, and elements of our Program have been adopted by the Canadian Path.

As a team dedicated to the success of Scouts Canada, communicating with the Key 3 is a great way for us to be inspired by and aligned with our movement’s national vision.
