Guest Speaker – Alex Paramanoff

On May 29th, the 180th Pacific Coast Scout Group was pleased to welcome Alex Paramanoff as our guest speaker. Alex is a professional engineer and currently works for WestCan as a pump engineer. He also has had extensive experience teaching CAD in the United States.

During his talk, he presented the Rockefeller Habits and its implications. While it is more applicable in the corporate world, it opened our Rovers eyes in terms of how we work together and present ourselves. Most of us are in the business of recruitment and retention for the well being of Scouts Canada. All of the concepts covered were directly applicable to strategizing our resource allocation and also optimizing the way we work. The 180th Pacific Coast Scout Group would like to thank Alex for his valuable time.
